Connect to local port in QfJ

I developed a generic video streaming system wich can stream MPEG-1 and
MPEG-2 standards over RTP, UDP or TCP. Now I would like to use QuickTime
for Java to implement a player wich can present all streams my streaming system cam
generate.
The problem is that I don't know how I can connect to a local port. For
now, I used .sdp files but what I want is enter a local port (in a
Swing GUI for example) and make QuickTime listen to that port for incoming
video packets; wich may be RTP, UDP or TCP packets. Making an .sdp file
each time I want to use a different port is dirty programming and won't
work for TCP. On the other hand, when I use an URL without a filename
I get a connect error. Does anyone know how I can make QTfJ connect to a
local port and make it capture packets on that port in Java?? Any help
would be appreciated!
