Re: About QTSession - Opening & Closing !!

Hi David,

I'm not an QT expert, but I think that open a QTSession at the start and close it at the end is
the best way to do it.
I use to do this in my applications and until now I didn't notice any problem.
Happy New Year!

I am using QTJava for MAC. We have an application which has some
requirements to play and record sound files as needed. Currently I am trying
to open and close the QTSession only when needed. Since opening and closing
are done more frequently the application as such has a degraded performance.
So my query is, can I open a QTSession when I start the application and
close it when closing the application. Is there any performance problem in
using just a single QTSession and have it open till the application is
closed.
Please do give ur suggestion.

Thanks in advance,

Regards,
David Wilfred Frederick.
