well,
three thoughts:

(1) your problem is actually probably that the QTJ installer doesn't update the JDK version of the zip.

(2) it's pretty rude to not use the user's preferred VM

(3) most users won't ever have had a JDK installed - anyone who has can be presumed to have some clue... but this doesn't excuse (1) - the wider issue is the installers discovery of _all_ VMs
