The crash definitely says it's a problem with getting a
window handle from a java.awt.Canvas, that's the ancestor of
QTCanvas

So, are you using a standalone Java application or Java
Plugin (if the last, which web browser/version are you
using)?

As for Win2k/WinXP, way much better to use NTFS than FAT32 -
more secure is one of the reasons (per file/folder can set
user rights etc. - like in UNIX, e.g. Linux & MacOS-X)
