indeed, there is a Windows call to get the currently
executed module (that might not be java/javaw though - a
host may have loaded directly the Java VM DLL [e.g. from
subfolder "jre\bin" the java.dll] - this is definitely the
case with Java Plugin, the host is the web browser, not the
java/javaw executable)

maybe just some better code at QTSession.open's native part
is needed to take care of this case (a not-registered JVM
that is shiped as a "private JVM" of the application - Sun
allows this configuration, think you have to register [maybe
pay too] though with them to be able to distribute your
application if you use such a configuration)
