this is an untested theory...but I know that the MoviePresenter class
has an associated TwoDSprite in spriteworld...I know that when I have
two MoviePresenters in a Compositor, I can set either TwoDSprite to
be invisible and when it's set back to visible, the movie is still
playing...now, it is unclear if the movie pauses while the sprite
is invisible or not...but it's at least a route to consider. You
can hack up a real quick test using the QTButtonDemo demo.
