Quicktime newbie question --

Hi,

Quick question -- is is possible to develop Quicktime for Java apps/applets on
a Windows 2000 machine using Java 1.3.x?

I looked at the tutorial but the tutorial is a .SIT file and I don't (currently) have
a way to decompress it. Also, the Windows Requirements state:
Sun Java 1.1.8 which is really old...

So -- I'd very much like to develop a simple app/applet to play a QTime file or
movie but it seems like there is no support to do this on Windows using current
Java.

Am I wrong? I really hope so --

Ken Warner
