FullScreenWindow Ate My KeyStorkes!

I'm still seeing this problem with Java 1.3.1 and OS/X 10.2.4. My application
uses QuickTime's getFullScreenWindow to create a presentation backdrop. This
works fine on Windows, but all keyboard operations are blocked when I run the
application under OS/X. This includes typing in text edit boxes, accelerator
keys added to the main panel, and keys picked up by a graphics paint tool.
All fail on OS/X, and all work on Windows.

Is there some special missing step I need for OS/X? Does anyone else have an
OS/X application running with FullScreenWindow that accepts keyboard actions?
