Hi,
My application is presented with chunks of mp4a (aac?)
audio data that I need to play back more or less in
realtime (i.e. directly from memory, not by writing
out to file).
I'm provided with all necessary data and some codec
specific information (to be precise, the hex value
0x1210).
I've managed to play the audio back by creating a
sounddescription (containing the codec specific data)
and then adding the samples to a file, but how do I do
this "on the fly" ???
I've been messing around with ExtScheduledSoundHeader,
soundHeaders, sndChannels, etc, (as per
SoundMemRecord) but where do I put the codec specific
data?
Some general pointers would be good, some code
examples would be great!
Thanks,
Sam
