Re: midi sync

No I just open the midi file as a movie, get the first track
put this track in a movie which contains another track (flashmedia)
and call play on the movie's controller.
As I'm very new to qtj , i guess that in this way the default midi synth is used.

Hi,
when i start my movie in which is a track with a midifile,
the first note is longer than it should be, and it is played delayed.
When i use prerollAndPlay() , the note has the right length, but it is still delayed(even more).
As i want to sync another track to the midi track , they must both start in sync.
How do I do that?
Are you using an actual MIDI device, or a something like a Roland SC driver to play the sound?  That  can introduce a significant delay that is system dependent.
