Re: QTJava has expired



My observation is that perhaps the newer QuickTime 7 installers aren't
properly updating over an installed version of the QT7 beta release,
leaving behind a QTJava.zip that's actually the beta version, not the
updated one.

At least this has been the case for one of my users--that they've only
had trouble on machines where the beta had been installed, but I've been
able to install a fresh QT7 (on a machine that never had the beta) and
have it working just fine.

This might also explain the delay from Apple, though I find it amazing
that they can't find the time to post a one sentence confirmation to the
developer list (or have they and I missed it?). Is this usually the case
for this list?
