The uplade is available only with an iTunes update? What about the
standalone Quicktime player?

to point the broader community to Bill's reassurance that a fix
is coming, Gruni's workaround, and to note that there are a lot
of people who've checked in with the list that we haven't heard
from before (which open my eyes to a lot more active QTJ
development than I was previously aware of, given that people
were posting within a day of the "expiration").
