Re: QTJava has expired -- update QT & replace qtjava.zip as necessary

search QT-API and QT-Java list archives on that issue
seems Apple fixed it, but maybe the updater doesn't know it (forgot to update version number or something?)

After installing the 'new version' of Quicktime (with itunes) from Apple's website, I was still getting the 'QTJava has expired' error. I had a hunch that my antiquated development environment (Codewarrior) was the problem -- sure enough, my project still had a reference to the old qtjava.zip. As soon as I replaced the old qtjava.zip with the new one the problem went away.

To the Quicktime folks, before I reinstalled QT I noticed that Quicktime said it didn't need an update. This seems wrong since it did need an update and one was available. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling. Did anyone else have this experience? (I need to know so I can better inform my users.)

Laura
