De interlace

Hi,
 
I am streaming interlaced MJPEG video to a quicktime plugin on my web page. 
 
If the image is moving then the interlaced lines can be seen which does not look good. 
 
Is there any way possibe to make QuickTime de-interlace the video.
 
either by:
Setting a QuickTime parameter via _javascript_
or
Passing an SDP Descriptor to QuickTime to tell it that this video must be de-interlaced?
or
any other way.
