Strange modern occurence. The old telefon net in the former East Germany was modernized
years ago with fiber, too. Therefore most people there can't get DSL.
Even within Cologne, Germanies 4th biggest town, are fiber and copper mixed through the
modernizing prozess of the Deutsche Telekom. That means I might loose DSL if I move just
around the corner within the city. Obviously ISDN is more spreaded than DSL, analog
connection is most.
T-DSL flat (768 down, 128 up) for 25.- Euro a month.
