Yeah, here in Chattanooga, TN there's a company that offers this wireless
service and we used it for about a year...it works really well if you're in
the line of sight of the transmitter. We paid about $200/month for 1.5 meg
both up and down, but they can crank it up to 10 megabit if you need that
bandwidth.
We now have a Comcast Pro cable modem and pay $100/month for 3 meg down and
384k up....and it really does give us the promised bandwidth, unlike most
DSL claims.
