BTW -- THESE CURSOR PROBLEMS START as soon as the project loads,
before any child movies or QT lists are called, before it is doing
anything at all.
Original Message Below:
I have a highly wired project -- it is not that big (296KB) but it
does have a lot of wired code as well as child movies, it also does
have a skin. It was done in Livestage Pro.
The problem is that Windows NT and Windows XP users consistently
complain of cursor problems.
The movie works fine but the cursor remains an hourglass always --
especially when the movie/player is launched by a little embedded
"launcher" movie in the browser. The users say that if they go to
another application and then back to QT, they then have a pointer
cursor as is correct.
Another problem that these NT and XP users complain of, whether the
cursor is incorrect as an endless hourglass or correct as an arrow,
is that the cursor is not stable -- it is "flickery" and "jumpy".
Does anyone have any insight into this problem? Has anyone else ever
experienced this? Has Apple ever commented on this? Does anyone know
of a fix?
John
