Francesco,
Sorry to be vague.
This example (media used only for testing purposes) uses an HREF
attribute in the HTML and includes an HREF track at the end of the
actual movie to link back to the poster.
The actual movie also includes CONTROLLER="True" and AUTOPLAY="True"
added by PlugInHelper.
Finally, the poster movie has CONTROLLER="False" specified in both the
HTML and burned in with PlugInHelper.
I have done this sort of thing several times without a hitch until now.
The poster movie will not trigger the actual movie a second time.

I started working with poster movies that revert to posters after
playing the real movie. Spinning cursors, iBeams, Arrows all messed
up.
Are there any tips for minimizing the severity of these screwy happenings?
What about displaying a sprite at the location of the cursor
indicating what ever you want the cursor to indicate?
2. My posters back to posters works fine otherwise, although I don't
understand why I get delays in loading the actual movie, even when
it's a local file. Also in IE, controller is late to display in
actual movie. As if that's not enough, what would cause a poster
that turns back into a poster not to play a second time. It does
what it's supposed to, but only once. I have to reload both IE 5.2
and Netscape 7 browsers to get it to work a second time.
Mac OS X 10.2.1
QT 6.01
Can anyone relieve my building tension?
You got me this time Ray; I'm not understanding what's going on.
Could you post a URL to better understand what's the problem?
How are you loading the different movies? Are you using QTNEXT or an
HREF embedded in the movie or in the <embed> and <object> tags or
what?
If you only have an href on the embed and object tags, that will only
work for the first movie that is loaded. If this is your problem you
may want to add the HREF directly to the movie with PlugInHelper, or
LSP, or even with AppleScript.
