I have done this sort of thing several times without a hitch until now. The poster movie will not trigger the actual movie a second time.

You'll have noticed that it works fine with a reload of the page, but as you say it doesn't work the second time through. Can what you are doing actually work? You're changing the movie back to the poster2.mov one without the rest of the page realizing it. Would that leave the page thinking that the source was no longer poster2, but was now poster5?

I'm using Netscape 4.79 with QT6.0 under Mac OS 9.1.
