High Quality setting

Hello everyone,

I am working in Final Cut Pro 3.0 with footage that is not DV source, and first converting to QT DV in After Effects. Once the file is written, I am finding that I have to open up the properties in QuickTime Player and check the "High Quality Enabled" setting, or the footage looks very rough.

Is there is a way to avoid this extra step?
