And then I did abit more research. It is possible. The line
export to mov as Quicktime Movie using settings qtes
is forcing the sript to save the file as a mov file
If you change it to
export to mov as MuLaw using settings qtes
then it should work with settings that are specified a ssound uLaw
If you change
set m to "this.au"
it will suggest the right file ending too.
The Quicktime dictionary gives the full options for using these
commands
(drop the Quicktime app onto the Script Editor logo to get the full
dictionary)
