I'd be curious to find out if this audio problem is strictly limited to the
PowerBook G4s or other machines with analog audio inputs.

I still have not been able to select the built in analogue inputs on either the PowerBook 800 or the G4 500 DP.

On the PowerBook I don't know if it worked in 10.1.5 as I installed 10.2 as soon as I got it. The PowerMac was running 10.1.5 and working fine.

On Guillaume's PowerBook he was able to select the built in mic (his PowerBook doesn't have line in) while in 10.2.1.

Ok. I am still running 10.1.5 on another G4. I just booted up the PowerBook from the 10.1.5 drive on the G4 (using target mode) and was able to broadcast audio from the built in Mic on the PowerBook.

Booting the PowerBook again from the internal drive running 10.2.1 6D52 does not enable me to select the built in audio sources.
