Hola!
I've created some images using gradients, and when I open them with
Quicktime (latest and greatest version), I get a lot of "bit noise".
A sample of these images are at:
http://www.iheinrich.com/noise/grad.jpghttp://www.iheinrich.com/noise/grad.tif (warning: big file)
http://www.iheinrich.com/noise/RedBlue.jpg
I've tested this on two machines, (G4 and G5, both with Panther) with
multiple displays, and they all show bit noise.
I've calibrated all the monitors.
When I open them with Quicktime for Windows, I do not get bit noise.
Is this a bug in Quicktime?
All the best,
