I'm having a problem getting my QT reference files to fast start. I started by creating a "empty" movie and then drag/dropping the other Quicktime movies into it to create my refernce movie. It works fine locally and all the files are kept in their relative locations offline and online. It should be working right? I have the Main Quicktime embedded in my html file and when i call up the html in Internet Explorer I get the Player with controls and a white blank screen. I also get the message in the lower left of the screen saying the page is waiting to download 20 or so items. I can only assume those items are the referenced movie files because the page has only three or four items. It looks like the Quicktime movie is trying to download all of the referenced movies completely before it Fast Starts!
