I've recently downloaded the QT MPEG2 playback component to experiment with
streaming MPEG2 files and have had some success in this. However, whilst my
test MPEG2 files play beautifully in WMP, the frame rate is jerky in QT
Player and there are audio synch problems too. The same QT Player problems
occur with the test file after conversion to .mov.
Is this a known problem with the MPEG2 Playback Component? I'm running QT
Pro 6.4 on a 1.6 MHz 256 MB RAM Dell (Windows XP Pro).
