Re: Quicktime Reference Files -Fast Start

I'm having a problem getting my QT reference files to fast start.

I started by creating a "empty" movie and then drag/dropping the other
Quicktime movies into it to create my refernce movie. It works fine
locally and all the files are kept in their relative locations offline
and online. It should be working right?

It's hard to say, based only on what you've told us.

Are you dragging the movies into MakeRefMovie, or some other application?

When you say it works fine locally, do you mean you can drag the local
html page onto a browser, or do you mean the movie plays in QT Player?

If it doesn't work locally in Explorer, it's more likely to be an HTML problem
than a movie problem.

Can you open the ref movie remotely using QT Player's "Open URL" command?

You say the browser shows 20 items to download; is that roughly the number
of movie files being referenced?

Which reference movie do you expect to load? Can you change your
connection speed or some such to try loading another?

Can you post a URL to the reference movie and HTML?
