You're a little short on details Mike specifically :

1/ How do you embed it - do you have some example code to post ?
2/ Where do you reference the movie - do you have the HTML page live so we can inspect it (and check for obvious bad-formed HTML) ?
3/ How does it 'not work' ? What error message do you receive ? What have you tried ?

Sorry to ask such obvious questions, but it's not possible to determine any fault diagnosis from the description you have given us.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

We are trying to embed a Quicktime movie on a web page, all the documentation
says to use the Object tag and the embed tag together.  That doesn't appear to
work, but if we copy the source code and open the file locally it will play.

Our users are both Mac and PC using IE 6.0 on the PC.

Thoughts?


<Plug> - CaptionKit (www.captionkit.com) will feature QTText import for captioning as of next week. The full captioning application may also optionally support realtext import, as well as the current text file import for subripper, cheetah and vobsub formats !

CaptionKit allows you to publish and transcode subtitled media files, and has the nice side effect of providing a searchable, indexed transcript with jump points. Search Google for 'hypertranscript' for some examples in all formats.
