Sounds like you need to install 3ivx or Divx for Quicktime. Check versiontracker.com

Colin,

You don't have the right codec. Open up the file in QuickTime Player,
and do a Show Movie Info, and it should show you the name of the codec.


    Plenty of codecs simply aren't available for Mac/QuickTime, alas.
