Is it possible to have a movie play directly from the CD with QT player?
I don't think so but...
I wanted the clients to play the movie without having nothing to do
but click on the movie icon.

Hi Alain
I have the same problem.
Maybe it is a trivial question and has been discussed before. If it
has, please excuse I not found the footprints.
So... if I may, let me rephrase the question and add a comment. ;-)
I would appreciate if someone would direct me to information (book,
url, site or archives) enabling the distribution of QuickTime movies
by way of a CD, so as to maximize the chances of a non-savvy user
viewing these movies or movie-sequences, unaided by their IT support
(plug and play).
I have received many of suggestions. I was special encouraged by one
which suggested that I seek professional professional help! ... that
is: it can be done.
On the other hand, someone hinted that unless I used a
triggering/authoring software (Director etc...) I would fail, the
recommendation being that QuickTime was not built to do what I have
in mind. I have not seen any official (Apple) hint to that fact
anywhere.
Thanks to all who care to respond.
(I am posting this same text on the Apple Discussion QuickTime list
just in case this is indeed a beginners issue.)
Antonio
