This is likely only because you have the 3ivx component installed - if it wasn't, the stream would have been decoded by the Apple MPEG-4 decoder. I know, it can be a source of confusion when you have multiple MPEG-4 codecs installed... no longer can you look at that info to tell you what encoded the media, just what is currently decoding it.
