QuickTime6.3 install and update problem?

Hello there,

I've got some troubles for updating to QT6.3.
I downloaded Quicktime installer.exe then I installed it.
But while I was installing, PC was rebooted and 
tryed to downloaded QT6.3 but It didn't succeed.

Any thoughts, or anyone else gets this problem? 
I use Windows XP Home edition and Professional edition.

My Question is:
1. Normal QT6.3 update modules work like that? 
   Do QT6.3 update modules make PCs reboot durilg update ?

2. If QT6.3 update modules have PC reboot during update, 
   Are there any ways to avoid rebooting ? 

  Thanks in advance

　PS: Are there any documents about how to write INI files ?
