I want to convert iMovie to QuickTime movie to burn to CD to make it
portable and cross-platform.
iMovie offers an export to QuickTime option but it won't work for me or Ed,
who raised it with me in the first instance.
I've tried different options/codecs but I just get a black movie with no
sound.
(iMovie 2.0.1, OS 9.1, QT 5.0.2, iMac DV 400)
Ed wrote me:
"Using iMovie (2.0.1) and choosing 'Export Movie - Quicktime - Full Quality,
Large' I get a Quicktime movie the same size as the original iMovie file but
with unacceptable (read - useless) quality. I would like the convenience of
the QT format - how can I have that and the quality of the original?"
(OS 9.2, QT 5, iMac DV450)
Are we missing something?
