You may want to try Microsoft's and/or Real's site.

I did that already and as you can imagine there is very little information on the two technologies (especially on Intelligent Streaming). I was posting to this mailing list since quite a couple of people on this list have knowledge not only on QT. (... and yes I already posted to wmtalk and I will post to helix-server)

QuickTime does not use "Intelligent Streaming" nor "SureStream".

I never assumed so.

QuickTime uses "Instant-on" and "Skip Protection".

... which have not that much to do with stream switching. Wondering why you mention those two.
