speech to sound found

Right after posting to the list, I found SpeechToSound, an app that purports to do exactly what I was wanting. See: http://www.riccisoft.com/software.html

However, it is "unsupported" and MacOS 9 only so my quest continues. Is there a MacOS X app that does this and, if so, where do I find it?
