White Frames at End of Saved Movies

Hi:

Does anyone know why there's always a white frame or two at the end of a movie that I've saved from a larger movie? (Copy, New, Paste, Save as Self-contained.) This seems to be a QT 6 phenomenon. QT 4 always ended as expected with the last frame. The source in this case is an iMovie saved as full quality.

Is there an Applescript method to detect and delete these unwanted frames, or some other way?
