You can preview the filters (in the filter window only), I haven't found a way to actually preview compression with having to actually start the compression. Is there a way?

Nope, I mean high-pass, low-pass, and notch filters. These can be very helpful if your camera introduces addtional additional noise to the video source.

I know this is available in the Windows version. Is there a way to do this in the Macintosh version?
