Your layer numbers in this version are very strange. Also there's new
track in there, and tracks renamed, so it makes it harder to guess
what is the new cause of the problem.
Going back to the performance issue for a moment, I just did a test
where I had Activity Monitor open, and watched what QuickTime Player
was using. With noting open it uses between 0 and 1.5%. With one of
your movies open it uses between 50 and 75%. I tried deleting each of
the tracks, and I found that if there is only the track Menu (which
I'm assuming was the Flash track), the movie will take between 30 and
60% of my 800 MHz G4's processor time. That's even if the movie is
paused and not showing text. Two of your movies playing at once take
about 90% of the processor time.
It's hard to tell what is so tough about the Flash track, but it does
seem to be quite demanding, even if you believe it to be stopped().
