I have a MPEG 2 DVD made with my phillips recorder (DVD+RW) the mac
reads it just fine. But there are two things I'd like to do if
possible.
1) cut off 5 minutes at the end (even if it means edit and copy to a
DVD-R)
Well, you can cut off the end in the Philips recorder. Push the
pause-button at the point you want cut off. Then press edit on your
remote control and then split the title. After that you've got two
titles. You can delete the last one.
