I've got a professor who wants to record his lectures on his PowerBook
using QuickTime Player Pro 7.
The default Audio Recording rate is 128 kbps stereo, more than is
needed.
Is there a way of reducing the rate? I don't see it in the Recording
Preferences. If not, it would be nice to have this....
Is there a way of eliminating/extracting one of the stereo tracks in QT
Pro, without recompressing, after the recording is saved, to halve the
file size?
I thought there was a way to do this in QT Pro 6, but can't find it in
v.7.
I know there is other voice recording software, i.e. recorder.xhead,
but was wondering if it could be done in QT Pro 7.
Thanks,
