A month ago, more or less, I had to compress in AAC (low Complexity becouse
QT doesn't support High Efficiency) a mono file. After setting it as mono
I've almost halved the default datarate to discover that the quality was as
orrible as if I had simply left the stereo output.
I've had the feeling that QT mono encoding just didn't work; In other words
that two identical mono channels were exported.
