No audio from the web

Looking for some ideas here-thanks in advance for any comments

We are dealing with a lab running Windows XP, QT 6.5.x. All systems in the lab have Deep Freeze installed. They are unable to hear audio on our embedded movies when the movie uses .mp3 encoding for the audio. They can hear audio on our test movie which uses the Qualcomm audio codec. They can hear audio from the QT movie trailers site. Tried wave out in the QT control panel and all other standard QT recommendations. All of our other customers don't have a problem with our movies (and there are lots of them). I'm thinking it's a firewall problem - but why would it block the audio only?

Any ideas, however crazy, are more than welcome.
