Re: compression formula needed!



Ok, This is definitevely not a good day for me ...
The VP3 datarate was 6 times the 143Kyte/s set in the "use target datarate
of" field in the compression VirtualdubMod's compression window. VP3
apparently didn't react well to this imput.
In the Compression setting the quality range is between 0 (highest) and 60
(lowest) but at 56 (default)with a limit to 1150Kbit and drop frames
unchecked VP3 couldn't go behind 2.3 times the limit set. The CPU usage was
55-80%, the size, of course, 640*480.
