Sorry didn't explain it better - in my case I got a white screen on playback - all the way through the video playback. But I have to check again to see if the problem was with ISMA version, MPEG-4 Improved or not. (or if extent overlaps was/is a problem).

Since fixing "extent overlaps" and/or fixing unknown other things on the Mac, MPEG-4 Improved does now play back in QT7
