QT to picture export interlaced?

Hi List members -

Yet another QT question  .  .

If I open a QT movie that has interlaced video, and then export 1 frame to an uncompressed .pict - is this .pict an interlaced picture?

If I export it as a .pict with Photo JPEG compressed @ 90% - is it an interlaced .pict?

I've tried looking around for answers, but found nothing conclusive.

Could someone state for sure if it is, or is not?

Also, could anyone tell me how to get the best - or highest resolution picture (not interlaced) from a QT movie - or a codec (or way) to get the fields combined to achive the best looking picture?
