I would test Ciscos MPEG4IP  mp4creator -rate= funktion.
Movs are supported, maybe you have to export and reimport the video track,
if your video codec is supported.
Should compile on MacOSX, if you compile CVS, you get a nice H264 player
too (for rtsp://bla/h264.mp4 streams), mpeg4ip.sourceforge.net .
