Re: QT RESIZES .m2v 720 x 480 into 640 X 480 ???

One thing I'm curious about is what does Compressor do with the extra six pixels from the 720x486? Compressors such as BitVice give you choice about cropping or scaling. You would want to crop those extra lines.

This was exactly a problem I wrote to the DVDSP list about (which was never answered):
No matter how I tried - I could NOT STOP DVDSP3 from cropping 4 pixels from the TOP,
and 2 pixels from the BOTTOM . . . .

Finally when I contacted Apple Support - all they could reccommend was to dump the presets,
and then reload them from the disk . . . I haven't done this yet - and maybe it still won't stop
it from happening . . . . . especially since this "Resizing" to 640 X 480 happens . . .

BUT - cropping is not something I WANT TO HAPPEN to MY CONTENT!

There has to be some (very little, but some) deviation that happens to my original content - and I
want to maintain as much integrity in it as I can . . . . unwanted cropping just isn't good . . .
IS IT?
