HD encoding for DVDSP4 questions

Folks,

So, I have DVDSP 4 now, and I'm trying to make my first HD DVD. Life is good.

However, I can't figure out what makes a H.264 .mov file legal or not for import - DVDSP4 keeps complaining about the file being invalid.

Importing from within DVDSP4 is a little limited - it appears to have a minimum HD bitrate of 10 Mbps, which is overkill for lots of stuff (like 720p30).

Exporting from Compressor with the H.264 presets only gives me 720p50/60 options, when I want to do 1080p24.

    Anyone else have any tips?
