Real export solution for 10.4

Has anybody come up with a solution for using the real export plugin on os x 10.4 / quicktime 7. i've heard that a manual downgrade to 6.x does the trick but who wants to do that? ugggh. another odd thing broken in Tiger. is it me or is this OS way too windows like?

Considering that it took Real as long to come out with this export plugin thing as it took the catholic church to recognize the work of galileo i don't think we will see the new version any time soon. I emailed them about it when Tiger just came out and it was the first the tech had heard about it. I don't think he even had a 10.4 system to try it on. jeez.

Also. Does anybody know why, when i compress a video into .mp4 using H.264 with Compressor it ends up 200mb but when i duplicate the settings exactly and export from QT Player it is 30mb??
