I've created an interactive QT movie that contains embeded, external, streaming movies. You can look at it here: http://www.ipodscott.com/archive1_st.mov. Back in the day (before I installed QuickTIme 7) I was able to save a movie to my QuickTime favorites, then drag the link from my favorites to my desktop, rename it as a ".mov" file and it would open the QT movie with the external movies in tact. Download the following link for an example http://www.ipodscott.com/archive1.mov. However QT 7 screws all that up. If you drag a favorites to your desktop it only does it as a ".webloc". I tried opening the original favorites link as text and retyping the URL. That crashed QT player. The actual text of the favorites link is as follows:
