No, the downward facing arrow is there, but where it says "save movie...",
there is gray "Pro" and when you click on either "save movie..." selection,
it tries to get you to upgrade to QT Pro.
My QT player itself is registered as QT 7 Pro from the FCP 5 installation,
but instead of a registration number, it says "Automatic".

Somehow the FCP 5 QT 7 Pro version is not transferring to Safari.
I thought that maybe I had to remove and/or replace a plug-in to make QT7
Pro work in Safari.
Any other ideas?
